AceShowbiz - George Michael is returning to the big screen in a new concert film built from recently rediscovered, never-before-seen footage of his 1988 Faith Tour. George Michael: The Faith Tour will be released exclusively in IMAX on December 9, followed by a wider release everywhere on December 11.
The film is directed by Andy Morahan and David Austin. It captures the global superstar performing at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy during the European leg of the Faith Tour in 1988. The footage was assembled from a 14-camera shoot captured on 35mm film over two nights.
An early access event, Gotta Have Faith: George Michael IMAX Early Access Event, is set for December 9 at 7PM local time at participating IMAX theatres nationwide. Guests who attend will receive an exclusive collectible ticket, while supplies last.

The film also includes an opening original short film by Mary McCartney. It is produced by George Michael Entertainment and Globe Originals, in partnership with Mercury Studios. The runtime is 113 minutes and the film is not rated.
An official trailer for the concert film has been released, offering a first look at the archival footage. Tickets for the IMAX release are on sale now.
