AceShowbiz - The iconic rapper Drake is rumored to be the secret headliner for the much-anticipated 2027 Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California. This speculation emerged from the latest edition of the "Hits List" by Hits Daily Double, released on October 2, 2026, which named Drake as a strong contender in discussions for next year’s festival lineup.

Drake has a notable history with Coachella, having headlined the event in 2015 and appearing as a surprise guest during Future’s performance in 2017. The possibility of his return after more than a decade has already sparked excitement among fans and industry insiders alike. XXL magazine has reached out to Drake's team for confirmation but has yet to receive an official response.

This buzz coincides with Drake's announcement of an upcoming tour slated for 2027, which will support his trio of recent albums released in May: Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti. In a recent interview with Etalk Canada, he indicated that touring is definitely planned for next year, promising fans worldwide that they will have the opportunity to see him perform live again.

Adding to the momentum, Drake dropped an expanded edition of his Habibti (FOMO) project on October 2, featuring four new tracks that tie into his short film titled Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO). Notable songs include "Solar Eclipse," which features Don Toliver and remixes Ella Langley’s country hit "Choosin' Texas," as well as "Québec," "Cold Shoulder" featuring Don Toliver and Yebba, and "Classic Pt. 2." The expanded release also includes new music videos for tracks from both Maid of Honour and Habibti.

While official details about Coachella 2027’s lineup remain under wraps, the inclusion of Drake would be a major highlight for the festival, continuing his legacy as one of the most influential artists in contemporary music.
