The tour’s success was confirmed by box office reporter ChartData on September 24, revealing that the total came from selling 2.037 million tickets over 47 shows. This achievement sets a new record for rap tours globally.

The Grand National Tour, which kicked off in April 2025 and ran through December, was co-headlined by SZA. The collaboration between Kendrick Lamar and SZA was a significant factor in the tour’s massive appeal, although industry insiders emphasize that both artists could have independently achieved similar success with separate stadium tours.

Prior to this, the record for the highest-grossing rap tour was held by Drake and 21 Savage’s It’s All a Blur Tour, which generated $320.5 million from 1.3 million tickets across 80 shows in 2023 and 2024. The Grand National Tour surpassed this record before the Australian leg of the tour began in November 2025.

Punch, a key figure at Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), expressed gratitude for the tour’s success, highlighting the unique dynamic of the joint headlining arrangement and the strong connection between the artists involved. He noted that neither artist’s contribution should be undervalued or dismissed, as both played a vital role in making the tour a historic event.

Looking ahead, Drake has announced plans for another tour in 2027 to support his upcoming albums Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour, suggesting that the competition for top rap tours will continue to be fierce in the coming years.
