AceShowbiz - Hotboii has been sentenced to six months in jail for violating probation related to his RICO case, according to court records obtained by XXL.
The Orlando, Florida rapper was booked into Orange County Jail on Monday, May 18. His attorney, Lyle Mazin, clarified that the violation is not new and stems from three separate probation breaches in 2025. During Monday’s hearing, the judge reduced the charges to a single violation, resulting in the six-month sentence. With good behavior credit, Hotboii could be released in approximately five months, Mazin added.
Hotboii, whose real name is Javarri Walker, was initially charged in 2021 with RICO and racketeering conspiracy. Prosecutors alleged he was affiliated with the 438 Gang, which was linked to multiple shootings and homicides. After spending over two years in jail, his legal team succeeded in having the RICO charge dismissed. Ultimately, Hotboii pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to engage in a pattern of racketeering activity.
He was released in September 2024 and placed on five years’ probation. Since then, Hotboii has encountered several legal issues, including multiple arrests in 2025. Notably, in July of last year, he was arrested in Miami for firearm possession by a convicted felon and trespassing on school property while armed.
Despite his legal troubles, Hotboii recently dropped a new single titled Alicia, featuring Lil Baby, earlier this month.
