AceShowbiz - Tayler Holder, the TikTok sensation turned country music artist, has made the difficult decision to cancel his upcoming nine-date When No One's Around Tour in order to prioritize his mental health. On Monday, May 11, the 28-year-old shared the news with fans via Instagram, describing it as one of the hardest choices he's ever faced.
Tayler Holder explained that for several months he has been battling ongoing mental health challenges that he can no longer overlook. Despite his efforts to push through the difficulties while dedicating himself fully to his music and supporters, he admitted he has now reached a breaking point. "I've tried for awhile now to put my head down and just push through this and give everything I have to the music and the people who support me, but truthfully I've reached my limit right now and I need to take a step back and focus on getting healthy," he wrote.
The artist expressed feelings of loneliness and a lack of fulfillment, even in the midst of his rising success. "I feel so lonely and unfulfilled," Holder revealed, highlighting the personal toll of his journey.
Despite the cancellation, Tayler Holder assured his fans that performing remains the greatest honor of his life and that he did not make this decision lightly. He acknowledged the disappointment it might cause those who planned to attend the shows and thanked them for their understanding. "I know many of you made plans, spent money, and were looking forward to these nights together. And I'm deeply sorry for the disappointment this causes," he said.
Holder plans to use this hiatus to rest, seek support, and reconnect with himself away from the demands and pace of touring. He expressed hope that this break will enable him to come back stronger and healthier, ready to deliver the performances his fans deserve. "Thank you for your patience, compassion, and continued support. It means more than you'll ever know," he added.
He closed his heartfelt message by encouraging his followers to “please take care of yourselves and each other.”
In response to his announcement, Tayler Holder received an outpouring of support from friends and fellow musicians. Notably, Christian music artist Brandon Lake, 35, offered words of encouragement in the comment section. "Man lifting you up in prayer right now!" Lake wrote, adding a personal reflection on how he copes with mental health struggles through faith and positive affirmation. He urged Holder to recognize and replace negative thoughts with truth and expressed hope for a swift improvement in his condition.
Holder’s girlfriend, singer-songwriter Zoey Aune, 27, also publicly shared her unwavering support. She called him "the strongest man" she knows and assured him of her love and presence no matter what happens. "I love you so much and will be here for you no matter what," she commented.
Tayler Holder first gained widespread recognition through TikTok, where he amassed over 19 million followers since 2019. He became part of the app's Hype House collective in 2020, further boosting his profile. Transitioning into country music, he released his debut single "100 Rounds" in 2021 and most recently dropped "When No One's Around" last month, which also served as the title for his planned tour.
The cancellation of the When No One's Around Tour marks a significant pause in Holder’s burgeoning music career as he focuses on his well-being. The tour was slated to include nine shows, which many fans had eagerly anticipated.
