AceShowbiz - The iconic pop artist Madonna is preparing to return to the music scene with her much-anticipated 15th studio album, Confessions II.
This new record follows seven years after her 14th album, Madame X, which topped the Billboard 200 chart. Fans have eagerly awaited this release, especially after Madonna revealed she is collaborating once again with longtime partner Stuart Price.
The announcement of Confessions II came officially on April 15, marking a significant moment for the singer as she revisits the dance-floor vibes that defined her earlier work.
Confessions II acts as a sequel to Madonna’s 2005 Billboard 200 No. 1 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor. This upcoming album also represents her first release in over five years and her debut since rejoining Warner Records. The label confirmed her return last September, highlighting a homecoming to the company where her career originally took off in 1982.
Madonna spent the first 25 years of her career with Warner Records, releasing 11 albums including the original Confessions on a Dance Floor. In a now-deleted Instagram post from last September, she expressed excitement about her comeback with the label, writing, “Almost 2 decades later - And it feels like home with Warner Records! Back to music, Back to the Dance Floor, Back to where it all began! COADF - Pt. 2 2026.”
On April 17, Madonna made a surprise appearance during Sabrina Carpenter’s Coachella weekend 2 headline set. She performed classic hits like “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer”, alongside an unreleased duet with Carpenter, generating buzz ahead of the new album’s launch.
Following this surprise performance, Madonna released the first single from Confessions II at midnight on April 18, giving fans an early taste of what’s to come.
The official release date for Confessions II is set for July 3, 2026, through Warner Records, signaling Madonna’s full return to the dance floor and the music industry spotlight.
