AceShowbiz - The highly anticipated Marvel Studios series VisionQuest is set to debut on Disney+ on Wednesday, October 14. The show stars Paul Bettany, who reprises his role as Vision from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Bettany announced the release date during Disney's recent Upfront presentation for advertisers. He also confirmed that VisionQuest will serve as the final installment in the trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with the Kathryn Hahn-led follow-up, Agatha All Along.
While plot specifics remain under wraps, the official description reveals that the series will focus on Vision as he "explores his new purpose in life." Fans will recall from WandaVision that the White Vision, originally created by S.W.O.R.D. to eliminate Wanda, received all of the original Vision's memories in the series finale. After absorbing these memories, White Vision proclaimed, "I am Vision," before departing to an unknown destination.
The series is led by showrunner Terry Matalas, known for his work on Star Trek: Picard. The cast also includes James Spader reprising his role as Ultron, Faran Tahir returning as Raza, along with Todd Stashwick, T'Nia Miller, and Emily Hampshire in supporting roles.
As the final chapter of this Marvel trilogy, VisionQuest promises to provide closure for fans eager to see the evolution of Vision’s character. Will you be tuning in this fall to follow his journey? Share your thoughts below.
