AceShowbiz - Marvellous Miniature Workshop is set to return with an exciting new commission from Dom Bird's indie company EarlyBird. The BBC series, which explores the intricate art of miniature building, has been extended to a 20-episode season, more than doubling the original eight episodes.

The expanded series will feature 45-minute episodes, offering viewers a deeper look into the craft as a team of skilled miniaturists recreate beloved locations and buildings that hold special meaning to contributors. This immersive approach highlights the personal stories behind each miniature masterpiece.

Dom Bird, known for his executive work on Gladiators and his previous role as head of unscripted content at Amazon MGM Studios UK, is driving this new phase of the show through EarlyBird, his growing independent production company.

Returning as presenter is Sara Cox, who recently succeeded Scott Mills as the host of BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show, the broadcaster’s most-listened-to radio program. Her involvement adds a familiar and trusted voice to the series as it embarks on this extended run.
