AceShowbiz - Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE have revealed plans for a series of headline shows across Australia and New Zealand in May 2025. This tour complements their previously announced joint performance at Sydney’s prestigious Vivid LIVE festival.

The tour itinerary includes Auckland’s Studio The Venue on May 22, followed by Melbourne’s The Timber Yard on May 23, and Brisbane’s The Tivoli on May 27. The run concludes with the special Sydney Opera House appearance as part of the Vivid LIVE festival on May 24. Select dates will feature support acts C.FRIM and Chef Chung to enhance the live experience.

Fans eager to attend can access presale tickets starting Thursday, March 26 at 8 a.m. AEDT, while general public sales will begin on Friday, March 27 at 9 a.m. AEDT.

These live shows come in anticipation of the upcoming album POMPEII // UTILITY, a collaborative double-disc project involving Earl Sweatshirt, MIKE, and the New York-based collective SURF GANG. The album is scheduled for release on April 3, 2025, through 10k/Tan Cressida Records. The lead single “Minty // Earth” has already generated buzz, highlighting the strong creative partnership and friendship between the two artists that spans over a decade.

Previous collaborations between the two include tracks like “Allstar” from MIKE’s 2020 album Weight of the World and “Sentry” from Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist’s 2023 project VOIR DIRE.

Earl Sweatshirt, born Thebe Kgositsile, first emerged at age 16 as part of the Odd Future collective before establishing a solo career marked by critical acclaim. His 2013 debut album Doris debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top Rap Albums chart. His follow-up records I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside (2015) and Some Rap Songs (2018) both reached the top 20 on the Billboard 200 and were widely praised by critics. His latest solo album, Live, Laugh, Love, was released in August 2025.

MIKE, who hails from New York, has developed one of underground hip-hop’s most prolific and critically lauded discographies over the last decade. His 2025 album Showbiz! was regarded as one of the year’s standout releases.
