AceShowbiz - BTS made a triumphant return to the United States stage on Saturday, April 25, performing for a crowd of 60,000 fans at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This marked their first stadium concert in the U.S. in four years and was a significant moment on their ongoing ARIRANG world tour.
The tour began on April 9 at Goyang Stadium in Seoul, South Korea, and features an extensive schedule of 85 dates across 34 cities worldwide. It supports their tenth studio album, ARIRANG, which is their first release following members’ military enlistments. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and includes the Hot 100 chart-topping single "SWIM."
Before the tour’s launch, BTS held a historic comeback show in Seoul, underscoring the significance of this new chapter. While the group's last full U.S. concert was at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in April 2022, several members have since embarked on solo tours. Notably, Jin visited Tampa on his #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR last year and expressed a strong desire to bring the full group back to the city.
On Saturday night, Jin reflected on that experience, saying "I felt it back then, too, but Tampa is truly No. 1." His enthusiasm helped influence the decision to return for this landmark U.S. show. Following the Tampa dates, the band plans to continue their tour with stops in El Paso, Texas; Mexico City, Mexico; Stanford, California; and beyond, spanning an entire year-long journey.
For fans eagerly awaiting a visit from BTS, the Tampa concert’s setlist offers a glimpse into what to expect. The lineup featured a mix of fan favorites and two surprise songs that had not been performed at previous tour stops, making the first U.S. night a unique experience within the ARIRANG world tour.
