AceShowbiz - The second edition of SXSW London is set to take place from June 1 to 6, 2026, with the event unveiling its complete live music programme just over a month before kickoff.
Located in East London, the festival will span several creative venues including XOYO and Shoreditch Town Hall, continuing its mission to spotlight a diverse range of artists across genres and global scenes.
The newly revealed lineup features a dynamic mix of performers, headlined by Dallas rap collective Cure for Paranoia and the spoken-word and hip-hop artist BrokenPen. The festival will also showcase the K-Pop sensation YUNJIN, Italian pop star Gaia, and rising Afrobeats figure Oxlade. These acts will be joined by a variety of other talents such as Croydon grime artist Jords, reggae-influenced singer-songwriter Iyamah, and Finnish band Rabbit Cult, among others.
Earlier announcements for the 2026 festival included prominent names such as Nigerian Afrobeats powerhouse Tiwa Savage, American rapper Earl Sweatshirt, Nigerian rapper and singer Odumodublvck, American sibling rock band Infinity Song, and British singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri.
Additional artists confirmed for the event are Amaria BB, Sega Bodega, Shame, Circa Waves, and acclaimed producer Fraser T. Smith. Industry Pass holders will receive exclusive access to a special performance by renowned DJ Pete Tong during the festival.
Reflecting on the event’s growth, Adem Holness, head of music at SXSW London, emphasized the importance of grassroots music communities. He stated, "At a time when algorithms can flatten culture into sameness, stepping into real, physical music communities matters more than ever." He added that the festival aims to bring together distinct global music scenes within East London's venues, framing them not as fleeting trends but as movements shaped by the artists themselves.
This festival builds on the momentum from its inaugural edition, which featured performances by celebrated artists such as Tems, Nile Rodgers, and Sasha Keable in 2025.
Tickets and passes for the 2026 SXSW London festival are currently available for purchase, inviting music fans to immerse themselves in this vibrant celebration of live music and culture.
In a related development, Billboard’s parent company, Penske Media, acquired a majority stake in SXSW in 2023, signaling ongoing expansion and investment in the brand’s global presence.
