2025's animated hits dominate! See which KPop Demon Hunters & Zootopia 2 songs top the Billboard movie chart in 2026.
- April 3, 2026
AceShowbiz - For the second consecutive month, the top three positions on Billboard’s Top Movie Songs chart, powered by Tunefind, are dominated by tracks from two major animated releases of 2025: KPop Demon Hunters and Zootopia 2.
The rankings on this chart are calculated by combining song and film metadata provided by Tunefind with sales and streaming data tracked by Luminate during January 2026. Typically, this chart highlights songs from movies released in the previous three months, although exceptions are made for tracks that continue to attract significant public interest beyond that timeframe.
Once again, KPop Demon Hunters holds a strong presence on the chart, fueled by ongoing high streaming numbers and sales for its soundtrack. Leading the pack is HUNTR/X’s "Golden," which remains at No. 1 for the seventh straight month.
"Golden," which previously held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks in mid-2025, re-entered the chart’s top 10 after the 2025 holiday season. It secured the No. 2 position initially and then consistently stayed within the top four throughout January. In that month, it amassed 99.4 million official on-demand U.S. streams and 23,000 downloads, according to Luminate.
The soundtrack of KPop Demon Hunters, which spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, boasts seven songs on the current Top Movie Songs chart. These include "Golden" at the summit, followed by Saja Boys’ "Soda Pop" at No. 2, which gathered 40.6 million streams and 5,000 downloads in January.
The only track outside of KPop Demon Hunters in the top three is Shakira’s "Zoo," from Zootopia 2, maintaining its position for the second month running. This song achieved 31.8 million streams and 6,000 downloads in January 2026, allowing it to enter the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 77 on the week of January 10. This success echoes the original film’s hit "Try Everything," also by Shakira, which peaked at No. 63 in 2016.
Making a notable debut at No. 10 on the chart is Miley Cyrus’ "Dream As One," featured in the recently released film Avatar: Fire and Ash, which premiered on December 19. The song garnered 15.9 million streams and 1,000 downloads in its first month on the chart.
The full top 10 songs on Billboard’s Top Movie Songs chart for January 2026 are as follows:

These trends highlight the powerful synergy between animated movies and their soundtracks in capturing audiences through streaming platforms and digital sales. Fans can expect these charts to evolve as more films and their music releases hit the market in the coming months.
