AceShowbiz - Fackham Hall, a British historical farce starring Tom Felton, has quickly become the top-streamed movie on HBO Max just four days after its release.
The film premiered in theaters in December 2025 but only grossed around $2 million domestically. Directed by Jim O'Hanlon, Fackham Hall received largely positive reviews from critics, earning a “Certified Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The critical consensus praised the film’s “gleefully affectionate tone” and its “fearless comic spirit.”
Set in a grand British manor, Fackham Hall follows the story of a British aristocrat who is found dead during a wedding celebration. The guests gathered at the manor become prime suspects in the ensuing investigation. The ensemble cast includes Damian Lewis, Thomasin McKenzie, Katherine Waterston, and Ben Radcliffe, alongside Tom Felton.
In a review for Collider, critic Maggie Lovitt noted that Fackham Hall “has a few intellectual jokes up its sleeve with a wholly unexpected running bit with J.R.R.
