The events, promoted by Live Nation, are scheduled for July 9 at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, and July 18 at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania. These performances mark the first time the duo will headline stadium shows together and will also be the inaugural headline concerts at GEODIS Park for both artists. Opening the concerts will be Kashus Culpepper and Emily Ann Roberts, who will perform at both venues.

Tickets for Thomas Rhett & Niall Horan Live will be available for fan club members starting at 10 a.m. local time on Wednesday, March 11. Following this, various pre-sales will continue throughout the week, with general public sales commencing on Friday, March 13, at 10 a.m. local time. Reflecting on the upcoming shows, Thomas Rhett shared, "Niall and I have been buddies for nearly a decade now, but one thing we've not done yet is officially tour together. There's nothing I love more than being on the road alongside longtime friends - it's going to be a blast for us and the fans."

Niall Horan responded enthusiastically, saying, "When TR brought up the idea of doing these, I immediately got so excited just thinking about it. We've been friends for ages and it just makes perfect sense."

The friendship between the two artists has been apparent for years, culminating in a recent collaboration. In October, Horan joined Rhett on a reworked version of the country star’s song "Old Tricks," featured on the deluxe edition of Rhett’s album About a Woman. At the time, Rhett noted, "Niall and I have been buddies for six or seven years now - anytime I'm over in the U.K. or he's in Nashville, we always try to link up. We'd talked about doing something together for a long time, but I never imagined it would be this song."

Looking ahead, Horan is preparing to release his fourth solo studio album, which remains untitled. He is set to debut the album’s emotional new single, "Dinner Party," on March 20. Meanwhile, before embarking on the joint tour with Horan, Rhett will be opening for Morgan Wallen on a series of stadium shows starting April 10 as part of Wallen’s Still the Problem tour.
