AceShowbiz - The trailer for Scary Movie 6 was released on Monday, reuniting the iconic cast from the original series for a fresh parody of contemporary horror films. The beloved Core Four—Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Shawn Wayans, and Marlon Wayans—are back to spoof recent hits such as Sinners, The Substance, Terrifier, M3GAN, Get Out, Halloween Ends, Midsommar, and Scream 6.

The official synopsis reveals that it has been twenty-six years since the Core Four escaped the infamous masked killer known as Ghostface. Now, they find themselves targeted once again, with no horror franchise or trope left untouched. The film promises to parody every type of horror sequel, including reboots, remakes, prequels, spin-offs, and even so-called “final chapters” that never truly end. It also highlights the Wayans brothers’ return with a mission to “cancel the Cancel Culture.”

In addition to the main cast, original stars Jon Abrahams, Lochlyn Munro, Dave Sheridan, and Cheri Oteri are reprising their roles. Anthony Anderson and Chris Elliott also return to join the comedic mayhem. The trailer’s release followed a surprise leak by Marlon Wayans, who posted a video from a theater on Instagram.
