AceShowbiz - Jay-Z has announced two landmark performances scheduled for July at New York City's iconic Yankee Stadium. On July 10, he will mark the 30th anniversary of his debut album Reasonable Doubt by playing the album in its entirety. The following night, July 11, Jay-Z will perform his critically acclaimed album The Blueprint live, celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The announcement was made via an Instagram post that did not include details regarding ticket availability, supporting acts, or whether additional shows might be added. The post simply urged fans to "Stay Tuned" for more information.
This exciting news comes just one day after the band The Roots revealed that Jay-Z will join them at the annual Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on May 30. Although it remains uncertain if Jay-Z's set at the festival will focus on any particular album, promotional materials cleverly featured his name with the umlaut styling from the original Reasonable Doubt release in 1996.
Additionally, last month Jay-Z made his 1996 track "Dead Presidents" available on streaming platforms for the first time, kicking off a year-long celebration of his debut album’s 30th anniversary.
Jay-Z has not released a solo album since 2017's 4:44. However, he collaborated with Beyoncé in 2018 on the joint project Everything Is Love, credited to The Carters. That same year, the pair toured extensively across North America and Europe.
