Bosch, based on Michael Connelly’s bestselling novels, became one of Prime Video’s most notable original series, running for seven seasons from 2014 to 2021. Overmyer’s adaptation was praised for its meticulous storytelling and authentic portrayal of Los Angeles.
Beyond the original show, Overmyer also co-created and executive produced Bosch: Legacy, which extended the story for three additional seasons. This continuation allowed fans to further explore the world of Harry Bosch, who returned alongside familiar faces such as Jamie Hector as Jerry Edgar, Amy Aquino as Grace Billets, Lance Reddick as Irvin Irving, Sarah Clarke as Eleanor Wish, Madison Lintz as Maddie Bosch, and DaJuan Johnson as Rondell Pierce.
