Bassist Theo Ellis reflected on the recording process, revealing that the band felt a blend of "worried, nervous and excited" emotions as they pushed beyond their usual boundaries for the album. "We tried to push ourselves quite a lot with this record," he said, describing their recent tour as one of their "top tier" experiences as a band. Ellis admitted they were uncertain about the outcome but embraced the uncertainty as part of their growth and musical evolution.

Looking ahead, the band is gearing up for their largest headline show to date at London's Finsbury Park on July 5. Drummer Joel Amey expressed pride in curating a stellar lineup that includes The Last Dinner Party, Lykke Li, Rachel Chinouriri, Keo, and Florence Road. "It's a dream come true to play there," he said, adding that he wasn't feeling nervous yet but was very excited about the event.

Singer Ellie Rowsell explained how the band chose their support acts, mentioning that they had seen The Last Dinner Party perform live in Los Angeles and were blown away by their show. Guitarist Joff Oddie recalled initial doubts about booking the band but was delighted they agreed to join, praising them as "one of the best live bands" known for being "so tight, so musical."

The group's admiration extended to The Last Dinner Party's discography, with Ellis highlighting their two acclaimed albums, 2024's Prelude To Ecstasy and 2025's From The Pyre. Amey emphasized how meaningful it was to curate a lineup that reflected their own musical tastes, sharing how much fun the process had been.
