AceShowbiz - Amazon MX Player is gearing up to launch an extensive lineup of new and returning shows in 2026, aiming to strengthen its position in the competitive Indian streaming landscape.
The highlight of the upcoming slate is Made In India: The Titan Story, an inspiring drama centered on ambition and legacy-building. The series stars Naseeruddin Shah and Jim Sarbh, promising to be a marquee project for the platform.
Alongside this, Amazon MX Player will offer the socio-political thriller Sankalp, featuring a stellar cast including Nana Patekar, Sanjay Kapoor, Neeraj Kabi, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. This addition adds depth to MX Player’s diverse content portfolio.
The free streaming service, which complements Amazon Prime Video in the Indian market, plans to debut over 150 new and returning shows throughout the year. This aggressive slate underscores MX Player’s ambition to capture a larger viewership across the country.
Other notable new titles include the retribution thriller Ab Hoga Hisaab, starring Shaheer Sheikh, Mouni Roy, and Sanjay Kapoor. Administrative drama The Bureaucrat features Amol Parashar, while the high-octane action series Kaptaan stars Saqib Saleem.
The lineup also includes the survival thriller Vimal Khanna with Sunny Hindhuja, cop drama Waiting Hai starring Divyenndu Sharma and Bhuvan Arora, and crime drama Clean Up Crew featuring Ravi Kishan, Amey Wagh, and Vishal Jethwa.
Returning favorites will keep viewers engaged as well, with Raktanchal Season 3 and youth-centric series such as Campus Beats Season 6, Campus Diaries Season 2, Heartbeats Season 2, and Who's Your Gynac Season 2 all slated for release.
In the unscripted domain, the successful reality show Rise & Fall will return for a second season, while the fitness reality series Battleground also continues with Season 2.
Innovations in content format will be a focus, with the introduction of MX Fatafat, a microdrama vertical, and MX Vdesi, which will showcase international content from Korea, China, and Turkey, along with anime series available in Japanese and Hindi.
