The film, titled George Michael: The Faith Tour, has been carefully restored and remastered from original footage shot in 1988. It was recorded over two performances at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, now known as Accor Arena, using 14 cameras and 35mm film. These concerts took place during Michael’s first solo tour following his split from Wham!.

The project was announced jointly by George Michael Entertainment and Mercury Studios. Directed by Michael’s longtime collaborators Andy Morahan and David Austin, the film promises to deliver an "intimate yet explosive glimpse" of the artist, showcasing his mastery over both his vocal performance and stage presence at the age of 24.
