TWICE lights up Jimmy Fallon with "Strategy" live. See their historic performance celebrating the Oscar-nominated KPop Demon Hunters film.

AceShowbiz - TWICE made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, delivering a vibrant rendition of their hit song "Strategy."

The track, initially released in 2024 as part of their EP bearing the same name, features a collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion on the recorded version. However, Megan did not join the group for this live performance.

The performance was held to celebrate the inclusion of "Strategy" in the Netflix animated feature KPop Demon Hunters, which is currently nominated for Best Animated Feature at the upcoming Oscars.

In addition to their performance, TWICE made history last year as the first female K-pop act to headline Lollapalooza—an event their fans affectionately dubbed "Twicepalooza." Furthermore, they became the first K-pop group to perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in October.

Members Jihyo, Chaeyoung, and Jeongyeon contributed a new song titled "Takedown" to the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack. Notably, the trio appears in human form singing this track during the film's closing scenes.

"We didn't accept this because we knew it would be a huge success," Chaeyoung shared with Rolling Stone. "It just sounded like fun. The soundtrack itself is very different from our style, so it was an opportunity to challenge ourselves."

She further expressed gratitude, saying, "Whenever I read articles or see that the songs from the movie are topping the Billboard chart, I am really grateful we had this opportunity. We never imagined that KPop Demon Hunters was going to become an international sensation."

KPop Demon Hunters has maintained attention since its release last year. Its lead track, "Golden," earned both a Golden Globe and Critics' Choice Award, and is also nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars.
