AceShowbiz - The Off Weeks welcomes the talented Richard Gere to its ensemble. This upcoming limited series on Apple TV consists of eight episodes and is set to star and be executive produced by Jessica Chastain and Ben Stiller. In The Off Weeks, we follow writing professor Gus Adler, played by Stiller, whose life spirals into disarray following his divorce. As he navigates the challenges of parenting during his "on weeks," he grapples with the complexities of romance during his "off weeks." Here, he becomes infatuated with a captivating woman named Stella West, portrayed by Chastain. Stella's unexpected entry into Gus's life sets the stage for a dramatic clash between his parental responsibilities and his personal desires.

Richard Gere will take on the role of Jonathan, joining a cast that also includes Arian Moayed and Annaleigh Ashford. The collaboration of these talented actors promises to bring depth and intrigue to this narrative.

The executive production team comprises notable names such as Stiller and John Lesher for Red Hour, Chastain and Kelly Carmichael for Freckle Films, along with Showalter and Jordana Mollick for Semi-Formal Productions. Additionally, Paul Lee and Gabriel Fisher represent wiip, while Peter Principato, Allen Fischer, and Brian Steinberg come on board as executive producers for Artists First.
