The platform has officially greenlit a new espionage drama, titled Safe Houses, from the acclaimed creator of Homeland, Gideon Raff.

This eagerly anticipated series, Safe Houses, is an adaptation of Dan Fesperman's 2018 novel, a work deeply rooted in the author's own real-life experiences working undercover as a former reporter. The premise promises a gripping narrative: "a fast-paced espionage thriller set in the aftermath of the killing of a high-ranking CIA officer in Madrid." Further intricate details reveal that the show will center on two compelling female protagonists: Sofia Jiménez, a fugitive agent unjustly accused of the crime, and Ambassador Elizabeth Winthrop, the slain officer's widow. With Gideon Raff at the helm, Safe Houses is undoubtedly in incredibly capable hands.
