AceShowbiz - Universal Pictures has unleased the first teaser trailer for Jordan Peele-produced horror movie "Him". Due in theaters on September 19, the film, directed by Justin Tipping, promises to serve up a unique blend of horror and sports drama that will leave audiences both intrigued and terrified.

Tyriq Withers stars as Cameron Cade, an all-American college quarterback who is invited to an exclusive training camp run by Isaiah White, a fading star quarterback played by Marlon Wayans.

What begins as a dream come true quickly turns into a nightmare as Cade is drawn deeper into a dark, perilous journey to attain success at any cost. Wayans' character imparts a rather grim view of achievement, "Talent is how hard you're willing to work," and asking, "What am I willing to sacrifice?"

Given that the film's script by Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie previously made it to the Black List, expectations are high for this psychologically intense narrative. On top of that, Jordan Peele is known as the mastermind behind bone-chilling extravaganza like "Get Out", "Us", and "Nope".

According to director Justin Tipping, "Him" delves into America's cult-like obsession with football, casting a shadow over the glamor of the sport to reveal its darker, sacrificial underbelly.

"Him" also stars Julia Fox, Tim Heidecker, Jim Jefferies, Akeem Hayes, and Tierra Whack. With its official trailer already generating buzz on social media, Marlon Wayans summed it up perfectly via Instagram, "Bro… it's different."
