AceShowbiz - Marvel star Chris Hemsworth is not just an onscreen hero but also a knight in real life. His co-star Halle Berry has declared herself a big fan of the "Thor" actor following her experience with him on set of their new movie "Crime 101".
During their appearance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Berry revealed a defining moment that showcased Hemsworth's character. Speaking to E! News, she shared how Hemsworth stood up for her during filming.
Though she refrained from sharing specific details, Berry stated, "He stood up for me in a moment in our movie, and instantly I knew right then I'm gonna follow this guy, be a fan of this guy for the rest of my life because he stood up for a woman. He didn't have to do it and he did it."
Hemsworth, equally appreciative of Berry, admitted he was so starstruck by the actress that he felt intimidated when they first met on set. In an interview, he shared, "I've admired Halle's work for years, and I was very intimidated to sit opposite her within the scene and try not just be in awe of what she was doing."
"People bring out not just the best in you, but also a comfort level where it does feel like it's a place to explore and to examine different ideas, try different things. That was the experience. I loved every second of it."
In the new thriller "Crime 101", directed by Bart Layton, Halle Berry and Chris Hemsworth share the screen, conveying a riveting story of a heist. Berry plays an insurance broker while Hemsworth steps into the shoes of a skilled jewel thief.
The film, which also stars Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, and Monica Barbaro, is based on Don Winslow's novella and follows a set of crafted rules for the perfect heist.
"Crime 101" is on track to be not just a thrilling cinematic journey but also the chemistry that Berry and Hemsworth bring to the screen, anchored by a storyline that promises to explore intricate layers of suspense and intrigue.
