AceShowbiz - Jenna Ortega got candid about her "pretty intense" OCD during an interview with Dev Griffin on the "Heart Evening" show. Joined by Paul Rudd, her co-star in the upcoming film "Death of a Unicorn," she spoke about how her condition affects her evening routines and overall well-being.
"It's quite difficult, because we're always traveling for work and it's always a new environment," Jenna shared, highlighting the challenges of maintaining a consistent routine amidst a busy lifestyle.
The "Wednesday" star revealed that her OCD, characterized by repetitive behaviors and obsessive thoughts, often leaves her "exhausted."
"When I'm tired, I have pretty intense OCD," she explained. "So, that's kind of my routine, in terms of repetitive thoughts and counting everything multiple times and having to do the same action over and over."
Jenna's dedication to her craft often means late nights spent reading scripts and responding to emails, despite feeling the need to wind down early.
In contrast, Paul Rudd, 55, expressed his preference for a more structured morning routine, involving coffee and a crossword puzzle to start his day. He humorously noted, "Now, because I'm 100 years old, if 8:30pm rolls around, I'm like, 'Is this too early to go to bed? Am I going to wake up at 4:00am now because it's too early?' "
