AceShowbiz - Paige DeSorbo posted a cryptic message shortly after Craig Conover addressed their breakup on the "Southern Charm" Season 10 reunion. In an Instagram Story that has since disappeared, she wrote, "I'm as mean as you make me."

During the reunion, Conover called out ex-girlfriend DeSorbo for allegedly giving him confusing signals towards the end of their relationship following a "great" Thanksgiving together. "I went to her apartment to just be like, 'What's happening?' " he recalled.

"And she was like, 'I probably am making the worst mistake of my life, but I need to go find myself,' " Conover remembered. "And then I asked, 'Well, what do you want me to do with the ring?' And she's like, 'Well, keep it. Maybe we'll get married at BravoCon.' "

He also confronted DeSorbo about rumors of a third person. "She said, 'Craig, I'm not talking or dating anyone.' And then she said some crazy stuff," he claimed. "She was just like, 'Why didn't you try to get me back?' "

"I was like, 'I have been trying to get you back. That's not fair.' And then she was like, 'I think it's very clear that we both made the right decision.' And I was like, 'We didn't make this decision.' I would have never left."

He also explained why he didn't immediately address their split to public, "This isn't like 'we broke up and it was over and I moved on with my life.' We had been planning our life together for three years and she fantasized about the family and stuff. And so yes, I had been in a weird place throughout December for which we continued to talk throughout December."

The breakup only started to feel real to Conover when she dumped his belongings on his doorstep. "Two days before New Year's, she texted me and said, 'I just want you to know, you know, I talked about it on my podcast that we're no longer together,' " he recalled. "And then like, all my stuff just showed up on my porch one day. Like, then it became real."

"To me, the person that she's kind of been since the breakup isn't the person that I remember dating," Conover said, lamenting the shady comments DeSorbo has made about him.

"You know, she's fighting with people in the comments, she's starting to say mean stuff about me based on what the internet is saying. And I'm just like, I didn't do anything to you. Like um, sure I wasn't a perfect boyfriend and I had a lot of s*** that I had to work out, but it's been an interesting breakup to say the least."

When asked about the ring, Craig Conover replied, "I just returned it this morning. Diamonds are down right now so [the jeweler] was like, 'Do you care if I hold it?' I just don't need custody of it anymore so I took it back to the guy."

When host Andy Cohen asked Conover why he didn't try to reconcile with Paige, Conover said he refused to be with "someone you have to beg to be with." He concluded, "I just wish she would've been honest from the beginning."
