AceShowbiz - Elisabeth Moss, the 42-year-old Emmy-winning actress best known for her role in "The Handmaid's Tale," confirmed the birth of her first child. Moss revealed the exciting news during her appearance at the 2025 PaleyFest LA.

Speaking to People, she gushed about her fortune of being able to bring her baby to the set. "So many parents cannot. So, that's what we always say. Any of us who had the privilege of being able to bring our kids or see our kids at work, we would every single time be like, 'Aren't we lucky to get to do that?' "

Moss first announced her pregnancy back in January 2024 on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" amid speculation of a baby bump. When host Jimmy Kimmel asked her if she was "pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor," Moss wittily responded, "A little bit of both."

During the same interview, she shared that her pregnancy journey was going "really well," attributing her experience to a touch of luck.

Prior to motherhood, Moss had been candid about her evolving thoughts on having children. In a 2018 interview with Marie Claire UK, she confessed, "[Parenthood is] not for everybody, and I didn't know if it was going to be for me, but lately, I think it is." By 2022, her stance had solidified, telling You magazine, "I definitely want to have kids."

She praised the Hulu series, well-known for its dystopian narrative, for its family-friendly environment. "I think it'll be a lovely experience," she mentioned in a 2024 interview with Business Insider. "The cast is used to having lots of babies and lots of moms and dads around."
