The 'That's on Me' rapper Yella Beezy faces severe charges and a formidable $2 million bond as shocking details unfold about the 2020 murder of fellow rapper Mo3.

AceShowbiz - Following his arrest, Yella Beezy's bond was set at $2 million. The rapper, whose real name is Markies Conway, has been arrested and charged in connection with the 2020 shooting death of fellow Dallas rapper Melvin Noble, known professionally as Mo3.

A Dallas County grand jury indicted Beezy with capital murder "while remuneration was involved," implying an allegation that Beezy hired someone for the killing.

Mo3, was tragically gunned down on November 11, 2020, on Interstate 35E near Marsalis Avenue. According to police, he attempted to flee from his vehicle on foot but was pursued and shot multiple times. The brutal shooting was captured on traffic cameras, disseminating widely across the internet.

Authorities have charged and indicted two men in connection to Mo3's death. Kewon Dontrell White was first arrested in December 2020 for a separate firearm crime before being indicted for murder in February 2021.

Devin Maurice Brown, who was also involved, faces federal drug and weapons charges. Evidence such as phone records and surveillance data linked both men to Mo3's location and the plot, anchoring them further in this tragic case.

Documented court records propose that Beezy may have paid White to commit the heinous act. However, the indictment does not clarify why Beezy allegedly targeted Mo3.

Beezy was seen being taken into custody, with footage from WFAA-TV showing him escorted by several officers, hands cuffed behind his back.

Ironically, Beezy survived an attempted murder himself in October 2018 when he was shot while driving in Lewisville, Texas.

Yella Beezy first rose to prominence with his 2017 hit single "That's On Me," which made waves on the Billboard Hot 100. He has since collaborated with notable artists like Quavo, Gucci Mane, and Lil Wayne.

Despite his continued successes in music, his career was overshadowed by his past charges for unlawful carrying of a weapon, possession of marijuana, sexual assault, and child endangerment.

Mo3 gained recognition with the 2019 remix of "Errybody" featuring rapper Boosie Badazz and had a robust following on social media. His untimely death has called calls for justice from his family and supporters.

As Beezy awaits the next legal steps from the confines of the Dallas County jail, the hip-hop community watches on as one of its own navigates an uncertain and treacherous path.
