From drastic weight loss to developing a trauma bond with her daughter, Lala Kent has faced immense challenges following her 'horrendous' split from Randall Emmett.

AceShowbiz - Lala Kent, known for her role on "Vanderpump Rules," has been candid about the physical and emotional toll her breakup with ex-fiance Randall Emmett has taken on her. During a March 14 appearance on Brittany Cartwright's podcast "When Reality Hits," Kent detailed the severity of her condition post-breakup.

"You remember, I was down to, like, 90 pounds," Kent, 34, shared with her friend, reflecting on the aftermath of her split from Emmett, 53. "I couldn't eat. I was not well. That was the most horrendous time of my life."

The pair got engaged in September 2018 and welcomed their daughter Ocean in March 2021. However, their engagement ended seven months later amid accusations of infidelity against Emmett, making the separation especially painful for Kent, who struggled to cope while navigating new motherhood.

"I felt like my ex robbed me of what was my right as a mom, to feel happy and peaceful," Kent said. "The moment I had Ocean, it was like I blinked and I was ... fighting for my life, for my child's life."

Her dramatic weight loss became a visible sign of her internal turmoil. She explained on her "Give Them Lala" podcast in February 2022 that she felt "unhealthy" and was desperate to regain her strength.

"I don't love feeling this way. You know, I like women with curves. And for me to put a dress on - or literally I can't wear any of my clothes, nothing fits right now, it hangs on me. And I feel like I look sickly," she said.

Despite the dark times, Kent has made significant strides in her recovery. She now emphasizes that she's in a much better place emotionally and physically. "That time of your life is over and you're on the other side," she noted in an effort to stay positive.

Moreover, Kent acknowledges that co-parenting with someone she has a tumultuous history with is complex but necessary for the well-being of their daughter. She's also offered advice to others in similar situations, underscoring the importance of patience and disengaging when needed.

"When you share a child with someone, you don't have the luxury of going 'Goodbye, get the f*** out of my life.' You have to engage still," Kent reflected. "It's mental torture but you're going to get to a place ... it will just become your normal. Everything is always worse in your head."

Despite the hardships, Kent remains positive and hopeful. She's committed to taking care of herself and her daughter while moving forward from the painful chapters of her life.
