Following Trace Cyrus' public criticism of their father, younger brother Braison Cyrus shares his perspective on the family's apparent strain, emphasizing no ill will towards any of his family member.

AceShowbiz - In response to Trace Cyrus' open letter about their father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and subsequent shady comments about younger brother Braison, now Braison Cyrus speaks out, stating that he does not harbor ill feelings towards anyone in his family. "I don't have any bad feelings toward anyone in my family," Braison told PEOPLE.

In his letter, Trace had expressed concern for Billy Ray's well-being, claiming the "Achy Breaky Heart" hitmaker was "not healthy" and needed help. Trace also said his siblings, including Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus, shared the same concerns.

These remarks came following Billy Ray's controversial performance at Donald Trump's inauguration event which was plagued with technical issues.

Despite Trace's open letter, Braison insisted his father was "happy and healthy." He expressed admiration for his father, "I've spent this past year getting to know my dad better than I ever have." He said, "I've heard stories, jokes, and songs that I don't think anyone else has. It's an opportunity to tell my dad's story through music."

Braison also praised his father's musical talent, expressing excitement for Billy Ray's upcoming album, which he produced. "Music, stories, and family are the most important things to my dad, so to bring the two together is a full circle endeavor," he added.

Meanwhile, Trace scoffed at Braison's comments and told him to "man up" and poked fun at his younger brother's appearance.

Trace later revealed Billy Ray threatened legal action, but Trace defended himself, saying his "message was beyond loving" and he had held back a lot of things to avoid embarrassing his father further.

"I could have been extremely honest about a lot more but I don’t want to put your business out there like that. But for you to threaten me with legal action for wanting you to get help is a disgrace," Trace said.

As the family feud unfolded to public, a source close to the Cyrus family said they didn't want another messy year. "They got through the drama of 2024, and it's a new year," the insider said. "Miley and Noah and Braison and Tish, they don't want to be this Cyrus family feud. This is not enjoyable for them."
