As part of her due diligence, Lopez plans to seek advice from a specialist to assess the site before proceeding with any further steps.
The recent Palisades Fire, which destroyed much of the neighboring Pacific Palisades area, prompted concerns about potential health hazards from fire debris and ash containing harmful substances.
Affleck, who previously evacuated his $20 million Pacific Palisades mansion during the fire, has since returned to the property. Lopez has reportedly been in touch with Affleck throughout the ordeal and has offered her support to him and their children.
