AceShowbiz - What was supposed to be a fun night out for "Jersey Shore" star Angelina Pivarnick took a controversial turn. The 38-year-old reality TV star found herself embroiled in a scandalous incident at Brandon Voss' Secret Santa show in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood last week.

Reports emerged that the group Pivarnick was with was so disruptive that the venue staff called the police. They reportedly danced on the tables of other guests and one of them tried to pull the wig off a waitress.

One of the performers, Katrina Kemp who was a 3-foot-6-inch performer, claimed she got punched in the stomach and called a derogatory word. The frictions happened when the staffers tried to warn them and the debacle ended with cops being called and the group being kicked out of the venue.

Pivarnick's initial statement through her lawyer, John J. Zidziunas, attempted to downplay her involvement. "She had 'a wonderful time' at the event and was not, 'involved in any misconduct," Zidziunas told Page Six.

A video evidence obtained by Page Six a day later painted a different picture. Pivarnick was seen in the video alleging the staffers "put their hands on me," while one of her friends admitted to standing on a chair, which might have triggered the friction.

This led to a new statement from Zidziunas, accusing the venue's staff of escalating the situation. "What began as a fun night unfortunately turned into a debacle when employees from this pop-up venue allegedly began verbally harassing Angelina and members of her group, and even escalated the matter by putting their hands on Angelina," Zidziunas said.

The video allegedly shows Pivarnick telling cops she wanted to file a police report against the venue, despite her friend's incredulity. "Angelina, are you f***ing serious? What are you filing a report for? For me standing up on a chair?" the friend questioned, to which Pivarnick responded, "It's not about you!"

According to Voss, "No one put their hands on her. They may have touched her shoulder… They asked her to step out, and we had to call the police. She wasn't cooperating with security. Rather than physically touching her, we called the police."

In defense of his client, Zidziunas maintained, "Angelina stands by her position that the video evidence will clearly demonstrate she acted appropriately and did nothing improper or illegal that night."

He further stated, "It's sad when others feel they can mock and provoke someone for being a public figure and they can victimize themselves if the situation escalates."

Despite the dramatic altercation, NYPD stated that "there are no complaint reports on file" for the incident. The conflicting reports and public statements leave much to speculation and illustrate the volatility that public figures often encounter in their interactions.
