In a TikTok video posted on December 27, LaPaglia disclosed that she had gained 11 lbs.

"I think I've gained 11 lbs," she shared. "It's great and it's awesome because I have an appetite again. I'm eating." However, she expressed the need to pace herself due to the anxiety she has developed.

LaPaglia described the time when she unintentionally lost weight as "toxic, awful, and horrible," explaining that it was a result of severe mental distress that affected her ability to eat and led to extreme weight loss.

To gain back the weight, LaPaglia employed a strategy of "force feeding herself," consuming unhealthy food such as pasta and fast food. She observed that her jeans were starting to fit better and she was feeling more like herself.

LaPaglia emphasized the importance of recognizing that gaining weight can be a positive sign of improvement and not something to be considered negative. Weight gain can indicate that things are progressing well, she noted.

In her video, LaPaglia also announced that she would soon be moving into an apartment after a period of travel and spending time with family. She expressed her anticipation of settling in with her pets and returning to a stable routine.
