AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian has announced that she and her two children, True and Tatum, will not be attending the Kardashian Christmas Eve bash this year due to an illness. In an Instagram Story posted hours before the event, she shared that Tatum had been sick all weekend, and now True was also unwell.
"For the first time in a long, long time, we will miss Christmas Eve," Khloe wrote. "I feel so terrible for my sick littles."
The Kardashian Christmas Eve party has become a legendary event, first hosted by Kris Jenner in 1987. In recent years, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian have taken turns hosting, with extravagant themes, luxurious decor, and an A-list guest list. However, this year's party will be more subdued, according to Kim.
Kim explained that construction work at their home has necessitated a more intimate gathering. "We're doing a really family intimate one that I'm really excited about," she told Vogue. Despite the lower-key affair, the family will still dress to the nines, as is customary.
Despite missing the party, Khloe and her children have been enjoying the holiday festivities ahead of time. They watched the classic stop-motion cartoon "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and engaged in pre-celebration activities with cousins True, Dream and Rob Kardashian's daughter, Dream.
Even though they won't have the family gathering this year, Khloe is hopeful that her children will be well enough for Santa's visit on Christmas Eve. She also expressed her gratitude for the support of her family and friends during this time.
