AceShowbiz - Offset allegedly has a specific intention with his Christmas decorations. After showing off his lavish ornaments in celebration of the holiday, the Migos rapper was accused of trying to compete with his estranged wife Cardi B.
On Sunday, December 22, the hip-hop artist became a hot topic on Instagram after offering social media users a glimpse of his Christmas trees and decorations. Online critics believed that him sharing a video of the ornaments had something to do with Cardi.
In the comments section of an Instagram post featuring Offset's clip, one in particular wrote, "Cardi's looks better. He's trying to compete lol." Similarly, another chimed in, "Why is he attempting to compete with Cardi? This is such an Alpha Male Complex."
A third argued, "He wanna be like cardi so bad he literally stalks her page if he not throwing shade on his story he copying trees. it's quite scary." A fourth added, "It so sadd that @iamcardib had to learn the hard way her biggest hater was the one she loved the most !!!!"
Meanwhile, other Instagram users came to Offset's defense. One of them penned, "Yall are some strange creatures in these comments!! Why can't BOTH parents be decorating nice for their kids?? Why do yall assume it's a competition. But then again my bad.. I forgot that yall know them!!" Another claimed, "Offset been doing this before Cardi. If anything Cardi got it from him."
In the footage itself, it could be seen that Offset had several massive Christmas trees inside his house and a few short white-themed ones. While most of the huge ones were decked out with red decorations, one of them had yellow lights all over it. The Christmas trees were surrounded by other ornaments, including gift boxes, Santa Claus and deer.
The video came after Cardi shared an impressive glimpse of her spectacular holiday decorations on Instagram. Earlier in December, she uploaded videos of several Christmas trees adorned with silver ornaments, sparkling bows and bright lights. The main tree featured white glittery bows and large silver balls, while three whimsical trees lined up in a row boasted silver bulbs.
