AceShowbiz - Tyga has spilled some details about his new music. The "Ayy Macarena" rapper, who has not launched an album since 2019, unveiled a cover art for his comeback album and its release date.
On Thursday, December 19, the 35-year-old hip-hop artist made use of his Instagram page to share an announcement about the upcoming record. In the caption of his new post, he wrote, "NSFW ALBUM JAN 31." He went on to say, "Pre save link in bio NSFWTHEALBUM.COM #notsafeforwork."
In the same post, Tyga, which is a backronym for Thank You God Always, offered social media users a look at the album's cover art. The artwork features himself standing close to the camera in a spacious room, which comes with a gray wall and floor. The rapper, who flaunts his face and neck tattoos, is joined by some women who are relaxing on a bed.
Tyga, whose real name is Michael Ray Stevenson, is sporting an all-black outfit. He goes with a tee underneath a leather jacket, which he wears unzipped. He completes the look with a sparkling necklace, which comes with a big cross pendant on its end, and an earring. In addition, his long black hair is braided.
It did not take long for the post to be flooded with online responses from Instagram users, who voiced their excitement for the forthcoming set. In the comments section, one in particular gushed, "I'm super excited." Another chimed in, "I can't wait." Similarly, a third added, "Can't wait to hear it."
The revelation came after Tyga broke the news about his new music. In a recent interview with Rolling Loud, he received a question about his plans for 2025. In response, he simply stated, "New album, new album." He continued, "I'm mixing it right now. So, album, tour." About collaborations, he said, "We just got to see, you know? Working on a few features."
