AceShowbiz - While fans have been rooting for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce taking their relationship to the altar, the couple may settle for pinky rings instead. The pop superstar and her boyfriend appear to wear matching rings at her recent birthday party.
As more photos from the "Eras Tour"-themed bash that Travis threw for his girlfriend's 35th birthday emerged online, fans spotted the accessories. One of the pictures showed the singer/songwriter wearing a silver ring on her right hand. While the design wasn't clear in the image, the NFL star also had a similar ring on his right hand.
"Ok matching pinky rings," a fan account pointed out while zooming in on Taylor and Travis' hands. A fan weighed in, "Matching pinky rings for couples typically symbolize a strong bond, commitment, and unity within the relationship, often seen as a more casual way to express love and devotion."
"PINKY PROMISE RINGS," a second person commented with a crying emoji. Someone else wrote, "I need the lore of that ring."
Besides the pinky rings, fans have spotted something suspicious in other photos shared by Brittany Mahomes from the party. It appears that there's a blurry area on Taylor's left ring finger, leading to speculation that it might have been edited out to hide an engagement ring that she received from Travis during the party.
"Hey. Um, guys? Do you feel like the pics with her hand are... blurred? Or am I hormonal," questioned @lizpwoods. The fan's sleuthing continued as they compared tone differences on Taylor's finger where a ring might have been, sparking debates among Swifties.
Meanwhile, a source spilled to Us Weekly earlier this month that the Grammy winner would "love to be engaged" but wasn't in a rush. "Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style," explained the insider. "Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever."
