AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams is apparently no longer hiding. The former host of "The Wendy Williams Show" made a rare public appearance as she attended her son Kevin Jr.'s graduation from Florida International University on Thursday, December 19.
The 60-year-old star arrived at the Miami event while donning a sequin black dress. The star, who accessorized with gold bracelets and a "W" necklace, was also pictured riding a mobility scooter during the outing.
For her only son's special celebration, Wendy glammed up in red lip and black eyeliner as she wore her brunette hair straight. She was additionally joined by her father Thomas Williams Sr., who sat next to her while inside.
Photos circulating online saw Wendy looking emotional while watching her son, whom she shares with ex Kevin Hunter, walking the stage on his big day. One of the snaps saw Wendy standing up at one point before she made her way through the crowded aisles.
The public appearance marked Wendy's second sighting this month amid claims that she's "incapacitated." Earlier this month, the TV personality made headlines when she was spotted for the first time since her guardian Sabrina Morrisey filed a legal document claiming that Wendy is "permanently incapacitated" due to dementia.
During the December 15 outing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the former radio host was all smiles as she was sitting in the back seat of an SUV while picking up an order from Sho'nuff Oysters. According to blogger Antoine Edwards, Wendy, who donned an army green jacket and several accessories that day, was accompanied by her nephew Travis Finnie.
The sighting came as a pleasant surprise for fans who were concerned by the star's health issues. A month prior, Sabrina stated in her filing that Wendy has become "cognitively impaired" and is no longer capable of managing her own affairs. The filing was made to support a lawsuit against A+E Networks for allegedly exploiting Wendy in their Lifetime documentary "Where Is Wendy Williams?"
