Madame Tussauds London has created their most technically ambitious figure yet with a fully colored waxwork of Elton John performing his iconic keyboard handstand.

AceShowbiz - Madame Tussauds London has unveiled a spectacular new wax figure of music legend Elton John. This ambitious creation depicts the 77-year-old superstar in his 1970s heyday, suspended mid-air over his rhinestone-covered piano in his signature handstand move.

Inspired by Elton John's 1975 Midsummer Music festival performance at Wembley Stadium, the figure features exquisite details. The original bejeweled blue Bob Mackie jumpsuit worn by the singer during that legendary show was recreated with meticulous precision. The figure also boasts Elton John's flamboyant glasses and platform shoes.

To complete the gravity-defying spectacle, Madame Tussauds collaborated with Yamaha to create a bespoke baby grand piano adorned with 24,000 rhinestones. The result is a mesmerizing display of craftsmanship.

"Elton John is a true living legend," said Steve Blackburn, General Manager at Madame Tussauds London. "Capturing his phenomenal stage presence in figure form was a challenging undertaking, but we believe we've created one of our most technically ambitious figures to date."

This new wax figure coincides with the release of Elton John's Disney+ documentary, "Elton John: Never Too Late," which celebrates the end of his extensive touring career. The figure will be displayed in the Impossible Festival zone alongside other iconic musicians.

This is not the first time that Elton John has collaborated with Madame Tussauds. The museum has been showcasing his wax figures since he sat for his first one in 1976. Over the years, Madame Tussauds has meticulously recreated his legendary outfits and stage presence, ensuring that his fans can experience a piece of music history.
