AceShowbiz - Florence Pugh has revealed that her life felt out of control after prioritizing her Hollywood career above everything else. The 28-year-old actress has re-evaluated her personal life after wrapping up her latest film, "We Live in Time."

In an interview with The Times, Pugh shared that after splitting from her long-term boyfriend, Zach Braff, in 2022, she had a series of short-lived relationships. She realized that she needed to step away from her career to prioritize her personal needs, including starting a family.

"I had to look away from my career, from movies, from wanting to be this kind of actor, that kind of actor. Or how many awards I would love to get before I pass away," Pugh said. "That's been my focus for ten years, but I want to make sure that the things I need to do, whether children, family, change, change in relationships... well, I realized I need to make changes now."

Pugh has since taken a career hiatus to focus on her personal life. In September, she confirmed her relationship with "Peaky Blinders" star Finn Cole. "I am. Okay, so something that I resonate with is that I believe that if magic is real, then it's falling in love," she said.

Pugh admitted that she and Cole are still defining their relationship but are taking their time to let it evolve naturally. "I'm allowing myself to take time to let something evolve and let it be completely real to its core, as opposed to racing into that," she said.

Pugh emphasized the importance of protecting her relationships from public scrutiny. She had previously spoken out about the negative impact media attention had on her relationship with Braff. "I had to be public in the past because people were bullying me and bullying my partner," she explained. "I think for anyone I'm with, I want to protect them."
