AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams is allegedly ready to return to the small screen next year. The former "The Wendy Williams Show" host, who was previously reported to be "permanently incapacitated," will be making a huge comeback in 2025 to cover Sean "P. Diddy" Combs trial.
According to Media Take Out, Wendy is officially sober as she's focusing on her health and her sobriety. The source claims that the TV personality has been attending behavioral therapy, adding that she's working hard to maintain her sobriety.
However, another report offers a conflicting statement. A source reveals to Radar Online that Wendy is retreating further into dementia. It's said that her loved ones are worried about her as they have been "kept in the dark."
The report adds that Wendy's worth had plummeted from $40 million in 2020 to just $500,000 as of last February. "She can't possibly be getting the same good care that Bruce Willis is when she's flat broke", the insider shares.
"Her loved ones haven't seen or heard from Williams in months except for that brief outing in August. The question remains, who is really looking after Wendy? She's stayed hidden behind walls and closed doors and may not have long to live. These things can progress very fast," the source notes.
The insider adds, "People who know her and care about her would like to know, but for some reason they're not being told anything and their attempts to reach Wendy are blocked. It's frustrating and hurtful to imagine Wendy being left somewhere as her physical and mental state declines."
The reports come after Wendy made a rare public appearance amid her health bout. On Sunday, December 15, the 60-year-old star was spotted in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, sitting in the back seat of an SUV while picking up an order from Sho'nuff Oysters.
The former radio host seemed to be in good spirits, smiling and wearing an army green jacket and several accessories. Blogger Antoine Edwards, who posted a video of the sighting on Instagram, said that Wendy was accompanied by her nephew Travis Finnie.
