AceShowbiz - Travis Hunter's fiancee has spoken up after she came under fire for her behavior over the weekend. While all eyes were on the NFL star who received the Heisman Trophy on Saturday, December 14, Leanna Lenee came under scrutiny from fans for the way she appeared to react when accompanying her man at recent events, including the Heisman ceremony.

In a video originally posted on TikTok on Monday, Leanna started by addressing her remarks that Travis wasn't her type at first. She meant it when she said he wasn't her type because "he was younger than me, I had never dated anyone younger than me and he had cheated on his girlfriend."

She, however, noted that it did not diminish the fact she's "attracted to him," and that's why she gave him a chance. She later found out that he's "phenomenal" and a "wonderful human being," citing it as the reason why they stay together until now.

Leanna was also captured in a video seemingly getting upset at a pop-up event while Travis was taking picture with fans. "I was there the entire fan taking picture," she said, adding, "I'm never annoyed with fans."

Leanna later explained why she didn't get up immediately when Travis' name was called during the Heisman ceremony. "When his name was called, I instantly was going to get up - if you watch the video, his mom didn't get up, so I was like, 'Oh, maybe I don't get up, I just sit here,' " she said.

She continued, "As soon as I seen Travis get up, then I thought it was appropriate to stand up, greet him, congratulate him. But then, there was a camera right in front of Coach Prime and I knew they were going to film that moment and because of how people are online, I was like, I don't want to be in that shot, so I sat down."

"I got out of the camera, purposefully, so they can have their moment. That's all it was," she claimed. "No one told me to stand up, no one had to tell me to celebrate with him. I was just sitting there crying, I wanted to take it in - I was super excited for him. But I wanted the moment to be about him and his family."

Leanna said she received permission from Travis to air her grievances in the video after her fiance defended her online. Taking to Twitch, the Colorado Buffaloes cornerback clapped back at the criticism, "You ain't never had no girl so why are y'all talking about me. Find someone else to talk about. ... Go talk about your girl. Go find a girl. Go find a life. Stop worrying about what I got going on. I know what I got."

"Y'all hate on me then you go hate on my girl," the athlete continued. "I feel the same thing that she feels. We're inseparable. We're with each other. If she's hurting I'm hurting [and vice versa] ... she's still sleeping. She's lump. You know when you're hurt you just cry yourself to sleep and you be gone. She's drunk OD amount tonight for no reason."
