AceShowbiz - Sydney Sweeney has stepped out for the first time since exposing online critics. After hitting back at body-shaming comments, the actress portraying Cassie Howard on "Euphoria" looked downcast during a recent night out.
On Saturday night, December 14, the 27-year-old actress was out and about in New York City. In a series of pictures that made their rounds online, it could be seen that she was making her way out of a building.
Sydney was walking on the side of a street, apparently heading to her car, when she was approached by photographers. While they were taking her pictures, she kept her head low. She appeared to be not in a good mood as she showed a stoic facial expression without a smile on her face.
Sydney seemingly wanted haters to know that she is proud of her figure, confidently flaunting her stunning physique during the night out. She put on a busty display in a see-through black corset top that came with lace details. The clothing piece featured a very low-cut design, allowing its wearer to expose her cleavage.
The "Anyone But You" actress also rocked a pair of long black leather pants. To keep her body warm, she donned a matching leather jacket that she wore unbuttoned. She completed the look with a small matching fur handbag and a pair of matching pointed-toe shoes.
Sydney, who looked fresh with her natural makeup, covered her eyes with a pair of black sunglasses. To accessorize herself, she added a necklace, a pair of simple earrings and some rings. In addition, her long blonde hair was let loose and parted in the middle.
The new sighting came shortly after Sydney clapped back at criticism about her body. On Friday, December 13, she took to Instagram to share screenshots of the nasty comments she received. Some of the mean comments read, "Looking a little Chuncky...Back to the gym," "She looks very chuncky," and "Too pale and she needs to lose a few pounds around the middle."
Sydney followed up the screenshots with videos of her working up a sweat at the gym. She was seen boxing, flipping tires, hitting the speed bag doing squats, crunches and more. She further flaunted the results of her hard work, flexing her biceps to reveal the muscle definition she gained while training to play boxer Christy Martin for an upcoming biopic.
