A game based on Justin Timberlake's 2011 sci-fi action film 'In Time' is launching on Fortnite, kicking off a partnership between Snoop Dogg's Death Row Games and New Regency.

AceShowbiz - Death Row Games and New Regency have joined forces to bring New Regency's film library to the popular gaming platform Fortnite. The first title to be adapted, "In Time", will launch on Thursday, December 12.

Death Row Games' Good Game Champ division will develop the games using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), beginning with "In Time," which is described as a perfect fit for the UEFN platform, offering an unparalleled gaming experience.

"In Time," directed by Andrew Niccol, stars Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Cillian Murphy and Olivia Wilde. It depicts a dystopian society where time serves as currency, exploring themes of inequality and resistance.

New Regency currently hosts projects such as Steve McQueen's "Blitz" on Apple TV+, Season 2 of Amazon's "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" with Donald Glover, and "Man on Fire" for Netflix.

"New Regency has produced some of my favorite films," said Death Row Games CEO Cordell Broadus. "This partnership allows us to bring authenticity and cultural representation to the Fortnite world."

New Regency chairman and CEO Yariv Milchan added, "This collaboration aligns with our ethos of immersive storytelling and innovation. We are excited to embark on this journey with Death Row Games."

The Fortnite platform boasts millions of users worldwide, providing a vast audience for the upcoming "In Time" game. The partnership between Death Row Games and New Regency marks a significant development in the evolution of gaming and storytelling.
