AceShowbiz - Solange Knowles stands by Beyonce Knowles amid Jay-Z's legal battle. The former backup dancer for Destiny's Child has reportedly reached out to her elder sister to let the "Run the World (Girls)" hitmaker know that she's got her younger sister's full support as her husband fights a rape lawsuit.
A source tells Page Six that the 38-year-old is "supporting" sister Beyonce "no matter what." The so-called insider says, "Solange let Beyonce know she's there for her sister and is available to talk anytime she needs."
According to the source, "Solange reached out to Beyonce the moment she heard about the allegations," despite Solange's infamous elevator incident with her brother-in-law back in 2014.
Beyonce herself is "sticking" by her man despite the "heinous" allegations leveled at him. "She's sticking by Jay, as evidenced by last night's family outing," another source tells Page Six following the Carters' rare public appearance together at the Los Angeles premiere of "Mufasa: The Lion King" on Monday night, December 9.
The former Destiny's Child member reportedly "has no intention of leaving Jay-Z" as she "wholeheartedly believes him" and is "supporting him throughout" this ordeal. "[The Carters are] a team and will face this situation together," the source adds.
As evidenced by the family's brazen display at the "Mufasa" premiere, Beyonce reportedly won't withdraw from her NFL halftime gig amid Jay-Z's legal issue. One insider reveals that Queen Bey "has no intention of canceling" her performance during halftime of the NFL game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Texas on December 25. "Rehearsals have been and continue to be underway," the source assures.
Jay-Z, Beyonce, Blue Ivy and Tina Knowles attended the "Mufasa" premiere one day after he was accused of raping a then-13-year-old girl in 2000. In an amended lawsuit filed on Sunday, Jane Doe claims Jigga "raped" her while Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and an unnamed female celebrity watched. The lawsuit, which was originally filed in October, initially stated Diddy raped the woman while "Celebrity A" and "Celebrity B" watched.
The Roc Nation founder quickly denied the "heinous" allegations, calling them "blackmail attempt." He has since filed a motion asking the court to dismiss the "cynical and calculated" rape lawsuit filed by Jane Doe or for the woman to reveal her identity "immediately" to the public.
