AceShowbiz - Drake apparently has been streaming Kendrick Lamar's latest album despite their feud. The "Hotline Bling" hitmaker seemingly trolled the "Not Like Us" rapper's surprise record titled "GNX" amid its success.
On Tuesday, December 3, the Canadian hip-hop artist became a hot topic on Instagram following his alleged comments about his nemesis' album. He reportedly made the comment during a recent livestream.
In a video that made its rounds on the social media platform, it could be seen that Drake was trolling Kendrick's "TV Off", which is featured in the album. In the comments section of the livestream, Drake allegedly wrote, "CUSTAAAARRRRRD."
Not stopping there, in a separate comment, Drake penned, "we need a donut emoji in the chat custarrrrrdddd." The "One Dance" hitmaker, who is also famous as Drizzy, seemingly was making a reference to the lyrics on the track.
Upon learning of Drizzy's comments, social media users shared their thoughts on the remarks. Taking to Instagram, one in particular asked, "Oh so he's heard the song?" Another argued, "Drake lowkey feelin the project," adding a laughing face emoji.
Meanwhile, a third suggested, "This man is bothereeeed lmaoo. Like please just disappear, get your mind right & come back next year." A fourth pointed out, "He's not allowed to be petty after being a little girl about the beef. Nope!" A few others, in the meantime, deemed the spitter "corny."
Drake seemingly trolled Kendrick's song more than one week after K.Dot released "GNX". The album, which was dropped with no warning, features 12 songs, including "TV Off". On the track, he appears to give DJ Mustard, who produces the song and hit "Not Like Us", a shout-out by mentioning the record producer's name "Mustard" several times.
Less than two weeks following the release, "GNX" makes its debut on top of the Billboard 200 chart with 319,000 equivalent album units earned. Furthermore, K.Dot sweeps Billboard Hot 100's top five with songs off the album.
