AceShowbiz - Former My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar was found dead at his Tennessee home on Tuesday, November 26. He was last seen alive on November 4, the day he posted a tribute to Chester Bennington on X.
In his tribute to Bennington, 44-year-old Bryar praised Linkin Park's new vocalist, "emily armstrong is destroying, shredding faces and making chester proud. she was the perfect choice. AND she had to deal with the initial hate. that s**t is hard. trust me. word up."
While the cause of Bryar's death is still unknown, Bennington died by suicide in 2017. Linkin Park has since disbanded, but in September, they announced plans to reunite for a new tour and music with new member Emily Armstrong. The announcement was met with mixed reactions from fans.
After his tribute to Bennington, Bryar posted two cryptic messages on Twitter, "TULSI" and "MEGYN." These posts have puzzled fans, but a fan in the comments suggested that they are references to Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman who switched parties to support Donald Trump, and Megyn Kelly, a media personality and political commentator.
Bryar left My Chemical Romance in March 2010 after six years with the band. He went on to work as a sound technician for The Used and in the real estate industry.
Authorities do not suspect foul play in Bryar's death. Animal control was called to the home to remove two dogs after Bryar's badly decomposed body was discovered. The investigation into Bryar's death is ongoing.
