The longtime drummer for the rock band has died at the age of 44 after he was last seen alive on November 4, leaving a mystery on the cause and manner of his death.

AceShowbiz - Bob Bryar, a former drummer of American rock band My Chemical Romance, has passed away. Circumstances regarding his death are still shrouded in mystery as the exact time of his passing is currently unknown.

According to TMZ which first reported the news on Friday, November 29, Bryar was found dead in his Tennessee home on Tuesday, November 26. He was last being seen alive on November 4.

Animal Control came to the house after the body, which was allegedly badly decomposed, was discovered and took two dogs away. The medical examiner is currently investigating the cause and manner of Bryar's death, but there is no foul play suspected because all of Bryar's weapons and music equipment in the home were left untouched.

Bryar was the longest-tenured drummer of My Chemical Romance. He played in the band from 2004 until his departure in 2010, ahead of the release of the group's 2010 entry "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys", for which he wrote several songs. He also contributed to the band's blockbuster 2006 album "The Black Parade".

Following his departure from My Chemical Romance, Bryar worked with other bands over the next few years, before announcing his transition from the music industry to real estate. His career aside, he was an active supporter of dog rescue charities and sanctuaries.

Bryar was a donor to the Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center in Frankin, Tennessee, even selling off a drum kit to raise funds for them. He also notably sold off a "Black Parade"-era outfit and pledged the funds towards animal welfare causes in the wake of Hurricane Ian.

During his life, Bryar had openly discussed his struggles with suicidal thoughts over the years. However, the report doesn't indicate suicide as the cause of death.

My Chemical Romance has not issued an official statement on the sad news regarding its former drummer.
