The 'Only Murders in the Building' actress and her 11-year-old half-sister Gracie Teefey bond over a lavish shopping excursion during Black Friday in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - On the busiest shopping day of the year, Selena Gomez, 32, took her half-sibling Gracie Teefey on a delightful shopping spree in Los Angeles, California. The pop star and her younger sister were spotted having a blast as they visited various retail outlets, including Urban Outfitters, Free People and Sephora.
Gomez looked casual and stylish in a black and white striped shirt, leather jacket and linen pants. Teefey opted for a more youthful ensemble, wearing a David Bowie band T-shirt under a gray sweatshirt and light-wash jeans.
Throughout the outing, Gomez and Teefey shared a close bond. The "Lose You to Love Me" singer often wrapped her arms around her younger sister as they walked from store to store.
Gomez has frequently praised her relationship with Gracie, crediting her with giving her a positive outlook on life. She recently told Wondermind, her mental health organization, that Teefey helps her maintain perspective.
"She's so innocent and pure. She helps me keep perspective on life," Gomez said. "It's funny because she's 10; I am 31, and even with such a big age gap I love her advice. She is very wise."
Selena also believes that becoming a big sister has made her a happier person. "I knew I had to be a lot stronger than succumbing to people's chatter," she said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "My sister is 11 now and deals with things so well. It's because of my parents, but also because I've always tried to be strong around her and vulnerable with her."
When asked if Teefey grasps her level of fame, Gomez replied, "We go to Target, we'll go bowling, we'll go places, and we don't really get bothered. And if we do, she's used to it." She added that it brings her joy when Gracie expresses disinterest in following in her footsteps.
"I knew very young that I wanted to be in the entertainment industry, and I'm so grateful that she hasn't felt like I live a sparkly life, so she wants that life," Gomez reflected.
Gracie's mother is Selena's mother Mandy Teefey and her stepfather is Brian Teefey. Gomez also has a half-sister, Victoria, 8, through her father Rick Gomez and his wife Sara.
